You can chose to stay at the gates for more easy kills (and less rewards) as the ascalonians replenish their forces, or you can push your team deeper behind charr lines and kill much more tough foes. Expect traps, enchantment removals to remove Shadow Forms etc to avoid it becoming a solo farm mission.

Want a preview how it would look like? Go to pre-sear near Rurik and look over the wall at vanguards and charrs fighting. Wouldn't you be able to jump down and take part of it?
I stopped playing in Summer of 2005 for a year and a half exactly because we DID NOT do that!

Just improve the AI. Anything in HM can kill an unprotected player less than 5 s. It is absurd for us to even beat anything HM in the first place.

Improve their positioning (it is wtfomfgsofking bad atm- give them more space and movement) and field awareness, skill usage priority, rupt priority, switching target, kiting (hah beat that) and rounding up players. And if they cannot win, just do what players do: retreat.

Interesting
Hell, it would be ok if they buffed everything slightly. The problem was that instead of buffing 100% of the skills by 10-15% they went and buffed 5% of the skills by 100-200%. So winning HM is as easy as taking the skills that turn it back into easy mode instead of really requiring a balanced build.

The problem isn't the heroes, its the pve/pvp split. I'd rather a mode where we use the pvp version of skills + no pve only skills/cons.

Doesn't matter if it is a player. If the ST Rit is a hero, you'll have to micro them anyways due to nukes and melee damage.
